Friday Favorites

Hello, and happy, happy Friday!  This week was fun, to say the least.  On Wednesday, my friends and I went to Build - a - Bear, and vlogged about it!  It was so fun and exciting. A little intimidating, but fun, nonetheless. Hopefully that video will be up sometime within the next several weeks, or so.  For now, why don't you kick back, relax, and keep on scrolling to see what I have been loving the last seven days...

1. Favorite Picture

Would you believe me if I told you it snowed a little bit this week? Yeah, I wouldn't either. Not to mention, they're also calling for snow over the weekend. The saying goes, "April showers bring May flowers" and not, "April snow showers bring May flowers", right?

2. Favorite Space

This little corner looks like the perfect place to curl up, and take a nap.  Wouldn't you say?

3. Favorite Jams

80s music will forever hold a very special place within my heart. Honestly, it's so much better than today's trending tracks. Recentlt, I have been listening to a bunch of different artist from the 1980s on my record player.  A few of my favorite songs include, "I Melt With You" by Modern English, "Take My Breath Away" by Berlin, and "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper.  The fact that I am watching Stranger Things again does not help dim my obsession with that particular decade...

4. Favorite Outfit

At this point, I am desperate for some blue jean jacket weather.  I feel as though I say this every week, but I AM SO DONE WITH THE COLD, AND MR. WINTER, ALTOGETHER.

5. Favorite Quote

Something I have learned in life, is that everything - absolutely everything - is a gift.  There are so many things in life, including life itself, we take for granted. The simplest things, such as going outside and being able to breathe the fresh air, or being able to get up out of bed all on your own. It's the little things in life we take for granted.  The smallest blessings in life that seem to slip from our minds first.

Have an amazing weekend, loves!

Until next time,

My Easter Weekend

Hello everyone!  Today, I thought I would share several snapshots I captured over the holiday weekend.  Our holiday weekend, was spent relaxing with close loved ones. For the last three years, it has become a tradition with my mom and I  to decorate Easter eggs with whipped cream and food coloring.  It's incredibly easy, not to mention, it's much less messy {and dangerous} than regular dye. ;)

Now, without further adieu, keep on scrolling, and enjoy!

Romans 5:8
But God commandeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

How was your Easter weekend?  Do you and your family have any traditions?  I would love to hear!

Until next time,

Friday Favorites

Happy Good Friday, my friends! Easter is upon us, and that mean 2018 is nearly halfway completed! It's crazy to think about, honestly. It feels as though it were just last month we were ringing in the New Year. Oh well, suppose that just means we are {hopefully} getting closer to some warmer weather! Fingers and toes are crossed!

Now, on to this week's favorites!

1. Favorite Find

This year, I am beyond thrilled to announce I will be going to prom! This is the dress I picked out. I love so many things about it. Perhaps the thing I love most about it is the resemblance it shares with Audrey Hepburn's look she wears to dine at Tiffany's.

2. Favorite Makeup Look

Speaking of prom, I have been scouring the internet looking at tons of different makeup looks to test out before the big night. I'm not sure if I'd rather go for my everyday soft and subtle, or try something a little on the dramatic side, and just a bit out of my comfort zone. The options truly are endless!

3. Favorite Purchase

Several weeks ago, I picked up this gorgeous romper from Kohls, and have yet the opportunity to wear it. Would you believe me if I told you it snowed last week?

4. Favorite Haircut

My mom and I are going back to the hair salon a couple of weekends from now, and I plan on cutting off maybe just a smidge more than the last *hides behind hands* Something similar to the haircut below is what I'm thinking.

5. Favorite Quote

I just wrapped up a research paper on an astronomer named Maria Mitchell. She was the first professional, American, female astronomer to discover a comet. I was incredibly inspired by her story, and her as a whole. Maria Mitchell's legacy goes to show that us young, aspiring women can make an impact on the world by pursuing our passions, for the only way to make the change we want to see in this world is by engaging ourselves into the things we love most.

I hope you all have a very lovely Easter holiday!

Until next time,

Pastel Wonderland

March Madness brings April {snow} showers, while April {snow} showers bring May flowers.

At least, I hope so...

Over the weekend it snowed like crazy. When first hearing this news mid-last week, I was very, very upset, to say the least. But seeing the pretty little tufts of white fluff fall from the sky, I wasn't quite as upset. ;)

It was beautiful, honestly. So, I found it as the perfect opportunity to test out my new camera. These photos were taken with the Canon Rebel EOS XTi, and I have to say, I am very much impressed! I am still in awe with how well these photos came out, considering it was my mom and I's very first time using it. Of course, we still have much to learn, but for now, I think we're winging it pretty well. ;)

Speaking of cameras, my new video camera should be arriving in the mail later this week, which means I can start preparing myself for starting up Youtubing! Yes, that's right, I am going to be starting a Youtube channel sometime this Spring/Summer. I have been wanting to start one ever since I began For All Things Pink and Pretty three years ago. I am happy to finally announce I am getting around to making it possible! I do have a few videos planned out to film, but am open to suggestions. So, if you have any suggestions whatsoever, just leave them in the comments below, or on my Insta.

I hope you all have a lovely week. The snow has already melted, and I'm honestly a little sad. Just a little.

Until next time,

Xoxo, Natalie

Spring is Near

The other week it felt like spring!!

But then the next day winter came back again.

*sighs*

That's the pattern that has been on a constant loop over the last few weeks. It's beginning to give me whiplash!

BUT on a much brighter note, I upgraded to a Canon DSLR Camera!! I am so incredibly excited, and not only because I pulled the trigger and finally purchased one, but also due to the fact I got an amazing bargain out of it as well (only $100 dollars, lens included).

In case you were wondering, these photos were NOT taken with my new camera. They will, however, be in future posts from now on. I'm still learning my way around all the fancy shmancy features it includes. I learn more and more about it with each and every use.

I hope you all had a very lovely (and extra sunny) weekend!

Until next time,

Xoxo, Natalie
