DIY Fouth of July Crafts

Hello loves!  Fourth of July is THIS weekend!  So, today I will be sharing two super cute {and easy} 4th of July crafts!  Enjoy!

1. DIY Beaded Tassel Bracelet {red, white, and blue}

I made this super cute DIY from Southern Curls and Pearls this week.  For the 4th of July I used red and blue embroidery floss.  I'm obsessed with tassels so this was the perfect DIY for me!

2. DIY Patriotic Banner

This is such a cute and easy craft!

 You will need the following:
Scissors

Ruler

Pre-made Banner {or you can make one yourself}

Pencil

Thin Paintbrush

Medium sized Paintbrush

Star Stencil {not shown}

A towel to place under the piece of burlap {not shown}

String

Red and Blue Paint

Step one:

Start by tracing some stars onto a piece of burlap.  I used paper stars from the Dollar Store.  I got them for a school project I had to do. :)

Step two:

Using your thin paintbrush, outline your star with blue paint.

 Step three:

Paint around the star with the same blue paint you used to outline the star.

  Step four:

Taking your ruler and pencil {on a different piece of burlap} make the lines for your stripes.  Mark the inside of the stripe you will be painting.  Outline the stripes with red paint.
{see below}

Step five:

Fill in the stripes using the red paint.

Step six:

If your burlap banner is like mine and dosen't already have holes for the string, fold the top corners and cut a little hole.  {see below}

Step seven:

Almost done!! The last step is to string the burlap and hang it up wherever you like.

I hope you all enjoy doing these fun patriotic DIYs!

Until next time,

Xoxo, Natalie
