DIY Lilly Pulitzer Pumpkin {Palm Reader}

 I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm still having a hard time believing today is Halloween.  It feels like yesterday was the first day of school...

On the bright side, I'm excited to be sharing a DIY involving Lilly Pulitzer {my favorite!}.  This Lilly pumpkin involves only three easy steps.  I hope you love it as much as I do!

To make this you will need...

- A fake pumpkin

- A paintbrush

- Hot pink, light pink, dark blue, light blue, light purple, yellow, lime green, and metallic gold paint

 *Side note: You can paint any print you choose, I chose to do Palm Reader.*

Step 1:

Start by painting your pumpkin hot pink. {you may need to add a few layers}

Step 2:
Here comes the fun part! Remember, it doesn't have to be perfect.  Just be creative!

Step 3:

Almost done!  The last step is optional, but I think it adds a nice finishing touch to your Lilly pumpkin.  Just paint the stem of your pumpkin metallic gold. {again, you may need to add a few layers}

And there you have it!  Your very own Lilly Pulitzer pumpkin.

Friday Favorites

Hey loves!  Hard to believe tomorrow is Halloween!!   Even though I am sad October is over,  I am thrilled that Thanksgiving and Christmas aren't far away!!  I have had a lot favorites this week, so get comfy!

I know, I know, some people are probably thinking I'm crazy, but I love snowy weather!  It's so relaxing to make hot cocoa, put on your fuzzy socks, and watch your favorite movies all day while it's snowing outside.  Oh, and don't forget the candles!

At Last...

I did it... I finally purchased the Herringbone Vest!  I immediately put it on when I got home.  Let me tell you, it was so worth it. :)  I also purchased this plaid skirt.  It's the perfect skirt for the holidays,  and I can't wait to style it many different ways.  The best part is,  I got both of these items under $100!  You can imagine I was pretty excited.  You will definitely be seeing more of this vest.

Friday Favorites

Yay!  It's Friday!  I don't know about you, but this week has been a busy one.  So, this weekend I plan on watching my favorite Disney movies, bake some more apple pies, and maybe even do a little shopping. ;)  Below are a few things I have been loving for the week...

1. Favorite Show
Fun fact: I am obsessed with HGTV shows!  My favorites are House Hunters, Property Brothers, Fixer Upper, etc.  This week I have been binge watching House Hunters with my mom.  Whenever I watch a HGTV show, I want to redecorate our whole house!

My Fall Essentials pt.2

Hello everyone and welcome to part 2 of my fall essentials!  Today, I will be sharing a few more items I love having for the fall.  You can read part 1 here.  Enjoy!

1. Gingham Shirt
A gingham shirt is a must!  They're great for layering when it's really cold outside.
2. A Red Lip
 Red is my favorite lipstick color.  Red lipstick looks good with any outfit.  It's more natural and it flows nicely with your outfit.
3. Adorable Fuzzy Socks
I love fuzzy socks. Especially, adorable fuzzy socks!  I wear mine all the time since my feet are always cold {even in the summer...}!
4. Vineyard Vines Tee-Shirt
Vineyard Vines tee-shirts are great if you want to be comfy/casual yet still feel put together.  Vineyard Vines tees are great for layering as well.  I would definitely recommend one for the fall!
5. Statement Necklace

I wear statement necklaces all year round.  I find myself wearing them more in the fall.  Must be the crisp air, and the fact that we are getting closer to two of my favorite holidays {Thanksgiving and Christmas!}.  A statement necklace can add a girly touch to a flannel shirt or a pop to any outfit on a dreary winter day!

 6. Stripes

I love anything with stripes on it!  Striped tops, purses, shoes, you name it, I love it all!

7. Darker Nail Color

My all time favorite nail color in the fall is red.  I love it!  My other favorites are plum, orange, brown, and gold.

8. Vineyard Vines Shepshirt

 My other favorites from Vineyard Vines are their shepshirts.  Once again, they are great for layering.  I also, love Lilly Pulitzer popovers!

9. Leggings

Leggings are a MUST for fall!  The possibilities are endless.  You can wear them with over sized sweaters, riding boots, booties, and so much more!

I absolutely love planning new outfits!  The fall weather inspires me to be  creative.  My creativity draws me to my trusty striped turtleneck. 

 A striped turtleneck is definitely a must have for fall!  This season I have noticed that turtlenecks {especially striped turtlenecks} are trendy.  So today, I decided to share a few different ways to wear one.

If you don't yet own one, I'd recommend purchasing one, since the possibilities are endless.

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday loves!  I have been loving quite a few things this week that I can't wait to share with you all.  So, go make yourself a cup of coffee {or tea!}, kick up your feet, and enjoy!

1. No Carve Pumpkins

My Fall Essentials

 Fall Essentials

1. Flannel

What is fall without flannel?!  It would just be sad without it.  I love how soft, cozy, and versatile flannel is! 

2. Leopard Accents

My favorite leopard accessories are a clutch, belt, and flats / loafers.  It can really add that pop to any outfit!

 3. Floppy Hat and a Baseball Cap

 Rarely do I wear hats, but when I do, it is most likely a floppy hat or a baseball cap.  A floppy hat has a sophisticated look where as a baseball cap has a casual look. 

  4. Burgundy Everything

 Burgundy is my most favorite color in the fall {hunter green and beige are close seconds!} .  It's a very versatile color.  To me, burgundy screams fall!

5. Blanket Scarf {and just scarves in general!}

There's nothing better than the classic blanket scarf for fall.   I have a slight obsession with them!  Scarves are great accessories to pull an outfit together.

6. Vests
 I'm really tempted to buy the Herringbone Vest this year.  It's so gorgeous, and I know I would wear it a lot.  I own a white denim vest along with a red puffer vest.  I love and wear both all the time.

7. Boots!

Ankle booties, riding boots, Hunter boots, Bean boots... You name it, I love them all!

8. Cozy Sweaters and Cardigans

 Sweaters are my go to in the fall.  I mean who doesn't love sweaters/cardigans?  My favorite sweaters are the ones with round necklines {for layering over a button up} and over sized to wear with leggings.

9. Turtlenecks

I love turtlenecks!! I think I get it from my mom.  When I was younger I absolutely hated them.  Now, though, it's a different story.  I like to wear turtlenecks with cardigans, ponchos, and vests.  If it gets really cold outside, I'll even put a sweater over it.

10. Button Ups

Button ups are great for layering.  They're great basics as well.  I absolutely love mine from Gap!

11. Jeans

My favorite denim in the fall is army green, black, tan, maroon, etc.  I like to wear colored jeans with a simple top such as this one and a denim jacket over it.

Falling in Love with Fall

It's so hard to believe that it's October!  Each year I find myself falling more and more in love with autumn.  The weather isn't too hot or too cold.  It's just right! My favorite part of fall, is comfy cozy sweaters. :)

The weather has been so nice here.  Some days it has been in the low 50s!!  Big sweaters have been my go to.  This sweater is so comfy and cozy.  I want to thank my mom for letting me borrow it! :)  It keeps me nice and warm on those days when it's extra cold.
