Christmas REDy

Red Scarf // White Long-Sleeved Lace Top {similar here} // Black Beaded Beanie {similar here}

The countdown to Christmas is {officially} on!

   I am in love with this outfit {more like obsessed with it!}.  The red scarf against the white top is what makes this outfit so Christmas-y!  All that's missing is my Starbucks Red Cup....

   One morning last week I just thew on this outfit without even thinking about it.  Later on I noticed how Christmas-y it was.  So, of course, I had to blog about it. ;)  In my opinion, this is the perfect holiday #ootd and would look cute on anyone!

Happy Monday loves!

Until next time,

DIY Lit Up Christmas Canvas

I love the warm glow of Christmas lights.  Driving by homes that are lit up with Christmas lights makes me even more excited for the holiday season.  Today, I am excited to share this really pretty "DIY lit up Christmas canvas" with you all!  It looks so pretty lit up at night!  So, keep on reading to see how to make one of your very own.

You will need:

- A 16 x 20 canvas

- 100 mini lights

- Silver paint pen {you can use a Sharpie or stickers too}

- Stickers or a stencil of your choice

- Dental Pick {you can buy one here}

- Optional: Hot glue gun {I had to use mine}

Step 1:

Start off by placing your sticker or stencil wherever you want on the canvas.  I chose the middle.

Step 2:

Using your silver paint pen draw various sized dots all over your canvas.  First I drew the dots, then I drew the full snowflake.

Make sure you fill up your canvas....

I tried to make a hundred snowflakes so I could fit all one hundred mini lights.  However, I wasn't able to put all of the lights through every snowflake because they were either on or too close to the wooden frame.

Step 3:

I tried using scissors to make a hole in the middle of my snowflakes.  That didn't go so well!  My dad let me use his "dental pick".  It worked perfectly!  You can find one here.

Step 4:

Put your lights through the holes.  Some holes may be too big.  That is where your trusty hot glue gun comes in! ;)

Step 5:

 You are done!  All that is left to do is plug it in.

Merry Christmas {only 30 more days!!}

Look at it sparkle!

I hope you love this DIY as much as I do!  Oh, and by the way, happy Thanksgiving Eve!

Until next time,

Xoxo, Natalie

All Bundled Up

Similar Sweater Dress //  Similar Chunky Knit Scarf // Brown Braided Belt //  Similar Gold Watch // Similar Gold Link Bracelet // Pearl Bracelet

     One of my essentials for winter, is a sweater dress.  I wore this outfit yesterday to church because it was so cold.  The highest was 35 degrees {I'm not complaining, but it was cold! :)}!  This sweater dress did the job to keep me warm.  Not going to lie,  I have worn this dress for the past three Sundays.  It is so soft and warm.  I wore it with this scarf yesterday.  I honestly thought this scarf was going to be itchy and uncomfortable, but surprisingly it wasn't.  It is soft and cozy like the dress.

Have a happy Monday!

Until next time,

Natalie

Friday Favorites: What I'm Thankful For

It's that time of year again, and I'm giddy because of it.  This week we {we as in my mom and I.  My dad thinks it's still too early!} busted out all the decorations.  This year we are going all out!  What am I even saying?  Every year we go all out.  But this year it seems like we are decorating even more.  Anyways, for this week's Friday Favorites I am sharing a few things I am thankful for.  Enjoy!

1. Sweet Treats

Everyone has a sweet tooth.  I know I do!  Honestly, I don't eat a lot of sweets, but I do enjoy a slice of cake....or two, every now and then!

4. Family & Friends

I am thankful for wonderful friends and family!  I love how I can just be myself around my friends and that my family supports me in everything I do.

5. God

I am so thankful that I know God as my Savior.  Without Him, I would be lost.  Whenever I'm having a bad day, I will read my Bible and immediately feel better!

6. My Puppy

Okay, Okay, my dog isn't a puppy, but I still call him that!  I love my baby so much, I couldn't imagine my life without him.  Below are a few pictures of my dog!

7. The Color Pink

One of my favorite quotes from Lilly is "Anything is possible with sunshine and a little whole lotta pink." I am a total girly girl, so of course, pink is my favorite color!

9. My momma

I love my mom so much!  Words cannot explain how amazing she is.  My momma is always there for me.  She puts up with my craziness, holds me when I cry, and goes shopping with me.  I am so blessed to have two wonderful parents who teach me to love God.

10. Annnd My Momma Again!

Have a fabulous weekend lovelies!
