Book Review: Lauren Conrad Celebrate

Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend...

I'm sure you all have heard of Lauren Conrad's latest book, Celebrate.  It is, by far, the most beautiful and inspiring book I own.  I fell in love with every single page!  The minute it came out I rushed to the store to purchase it.  Okay, okay, maybe not the minute it came out, but a couple days after the book hit the shelves. ;)

The book shows you how to throw the most elegant, yet stress free party.  There are two parts to the book.  Part one, talks about the preparations of a party, and part two goes on to tell about each kind of party.

It starts off by telling you the basics of throwing a party. For example, who to invite, location, budget, etc. Then you learn the basic dos and don'ts of party planning.  Such as, when to send out the invites, avoiding antisocial foods {*ahem* garlic...},  and so on.

Next, Lauren Conrad discusses the menu.  She shares which fruits and vegetables are in season along with discussing the anatomy of an appetizer board and some delicious recipes!

The last two chapters of part one talk about the bar and decor.  The decor is probably my most favorite chapter of part one!  I absolutely love making party decorations, and this book is full of ideas!

Now, let's move on to part two!  Lauren Conrad shows you just how easy it is to throw any kind of party.  She shares a range of different parties.  Everything from a charming brunch to a summer clambake.   She even shares a few outfit ideas for every occasion.  I love how she even talks about her, oh so dreamy, wedding!

All in all, I would definitely recommend this book!  I hope you all enjoyed today's post.  Have you all read Celebrate?

Until next time,

Xoxo, Natalie
