Adventures in Art Museums

A couple of weeks ago I went to the Art Museum and fell in love.

It had been quite some time since I last visited an art museum.   I was dying to pay a visit to the one in our area. There were so many interesting and beautiful things to look at.  Everything from the sparkly, marble busts to the soft palettes of eighteenth-century, European paintings.  I felt like Elizabeth Bennet wandering around Mr. Darcey's Estate.

I told my mom if I could live anywhere in the world, it would be in an art museum.  Ever since I was a child, art has played a significant role in my life.  Whether, trying to stay inside the lines of my jumbo Clifford coloring book, or learning a new chord on the piano. I would be so lost in this big world without all the color art has offered me.

Until next time,

Gracefully Lacy

It is no secret that I love lace. If you have been following this little blog of mine for quite some time (or truly, no time at all), there is a very high chance you will have taken note of all the delicate, lacy items I have styled over the last several years. I can't help it. Every time I see something lacy on display at a store, I purchase it without a second thought!

You can see this outfit, as well as two others, in my lookbook that was inspired by the Netflix series, Anne With An E.

Have a lovely week!

Until next time,

Petals and Pedals

I have always loved the 1950s. I'm not certain as to what it is exactly I adore so much about that particular decade - poodle skirts, sticky, strawberry milkshakes, roller skating dates. Truly, there are too many lovely things to choose from.

If you could pick any era to live in, which would you choose, and why? While I do love the 1950s, I would choose the 1980s! Slap bracelets and Modern English will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Until next time,

Strawberry Sweetheart

Dress: Aeropostale // Hat: Sears // Shoes: Walmart // Ring: Grandmother's Jewelry Box

No lie, I feel like little Miss Strawberry Shortcake in this dress.

I wore this precious, little outfit in my Summer Lookbook video I posted several weeks ago. There's not a single thing I don't adore about this outfit. Everything from the tiny, white flowers to the soft fabric are absolutely perfect for the humid season!

See more of this outfit, as well as two of my other favorite looks this Summer, in my Summer Lookbook video I posted over on my Youtube channel!

Until next time,

Groovin' Into Summer

Dress: Target (old) // Hat: Sears (old) // Earrings: My grandmother's // Ring: My grandmother's // Belt:Similar here

My eyes look so green in these photos! I believe that is because of all the vibrant grass I was surrounded by. I've always wondered what I would look like with different eye color.  So, it was interesting to see the difference in these photographs.

If you follow me on Instagram, you are probably well aware that I finally started a Youtube channel! I have been posting a fresh, new video every Monday for the last three weeks; hence the reason for the lack of posts here on For All Things Pink & Pretty. I have found it hard to balance making posts for my blog, and my channel. Not to mention, life in general. I want to try and get back into blogging regularly again. My goal, as for my channel, is one post a week.

I hope your summer has been something like a dream thus far.   If you would like to get a peak into my personal life, be sure to follow me over on Instagram, and subscribe to my channel!

Until next time,
