Friday Favorites

Hello, and happy, happy Friday!  This week was fun, to say the least.  On Wednesday, my friends and I went to Build - a - Bear, and vlogged about it!  It was so fun and exciting. A little intimidating, but fun, nonetheless. Hopefully that video will be up sometime within the next several weeks, or so.  For now, why don't you kick back, relax, and keep on scrolling to see what I have been loving the last seven days...

1. Favorite Picture

Would you believe me if I told you it snowed a little bit this week? Yeah, I wouldn't either. Not to mention, they're also calling for snow over the weekend. The saying goes, "April showers bring May flowers" and not, "April snow showers bring May flowers", right?

2. Favorite Space

This little corner looks like the perfect place to curl up, and take a nap.  Wouldn't you say?

3. Favorite Jams

80s music will forever hold a very special place within my heart. Honestly, it's so much better than today's trending tracks. Recentlt, I have been listening to a bunch of different artist from the 1980s on my record player.  A few of my favorite songs include, "I Melt With You" by Modern English, "Take My Breath Away" by Berlin, and "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper.  The fact that I am watching Stranger Things again does not help dim my obsession with that particular decade...

4. Favorite Outfit

At this point, I am desperate for some blue jean jacket weather.  I feel as though I say this every week, but I AM SO DONE WITH THE COLD, AND MR. WINTER, ALTOGETHER.

5. Favorite Quote

Something I have learned in life, is that everything - absolutely everything - is a gift.  There are so many things in life, including life itself, we take for granted. The simplest things, such as going outside and being able to breathe the fresh air, or being able to get up out of bed all on your own. It's the little things in life we take for granted.  The smallest blessings in life that seem to slip from our minds first.

Have an amazing weekend, loves!

Until next time,

Xoxo, Natalie

  2. The true test will come when I tell them the white on the outside of the meat is a natural edible mold called Penicillim. If they keep eating despite this then I know we have an undisputed winner.

  3. Yet while normal and understandable, this is also something that's addressable. (Not entirely fixable, of course, but at least addressable.) But facts aren't the way to do it -- simply getting better at announcing the who, what, where, and when of things won't really convey the flavor of this lively place. For that you need stories.
